At TinyHelp we have just finished working on two premium telegram bots for both the Amateur Radio Enthusiast (@QRZBasicBot) and Nomads, Travellers or Vanlifers (@UKToiletFinderBot). There are more on the way.
There are positive plans to bring on board new staff in the near future as well as to diversify as a Web and Chat Services company.
If you would like to suggest a bot that you would like to see made or for queries about our consultancy offerings, please leave a comment or send me an email.
There are two ways in. You either want money or information from this system. It will allow businesses to post individual questions and bid on the answers. The users will answer from the highest paid question down infinitely for as long as they think its worth it. There could and would probably have to be a small cost for payment processing but you could run adverts for server fees.
Yeah if you buy a domain, or have some really cool content you want to publish on your own site. Feel free to comment on this post and I may be able to advise and support your technical growth. Assuming you water the seed though.
The basic offering is currently a small server here, we're solution to getting your idea online free, free advice and blogs up in under 15 mins. I can provide generic Linux admin signposting and advice as well as google cloud for scaling. This offer assumes you will learn to bear your own financial burden, and have an idea that you care about enough to provide.
Perhaps if you have the time to dedicate to performing a skill well you can make money from this, but its not just a normal income, nope. Check out the first one either way.
Casting is special because there are so many forms, but in essence doesn't take skill as much as method for some types. Its an ancient art too but you can do things like replicate a spanner from a bunch of coke cans and some sand for an oven and more sand for a form cast with a wood frame to hold it... There are different sorts: Epoxy Resin casting, rubber casting and metal casting, with many many uses. There is also Cement and fast drying variates for casting furniture, check this out where he makes a fire pit for the garden with a colander https://twitter.com/scienceClub01/status/1495262010828902403?s=20.
Art on canvas and signs can really mean a message to people when you know about colour and patterns. If you can guide people you can make a dimension with characters and situations to entertain and teach many people. There is hardly a need for translation. Ask a real artist and they may say you have to feel something to produce art, but you can at least learn to express your self with drawing specific things from guides until you know a lot and get called an illustrator.
As for Etching and Wire Bending, some people might enjoy spending all week making things, then going to the car boot or market to sell them each weekend. The art can be fun but boy is it good when it lasts or is seen. but if you can just make a nice photo holder from some wire that's cheap at a farm store, with a pair of pliers, you can really live anywhere with a minimal lifestyle.
This idea could revolutionise the way we do business in a way more significant than the internet.
The buy and sell API is possibly not an original idea, but there are certainly no businesses that provide this on the market today. Essentially people could list any items people were selling in any shop as part of their app.
The user flow for a seller would be something along the lines list your complete item big or small by submitting on the website or through the API and, from then on any searches including terms related to your item would have your items available, people could list your item on their app or page or as part of a subscription. The user flow for a buyer (consumer) would be that they would visit any site that wished to sell your item and they could pay for the item either on that website or using the Ultimate Shop's payment portal, which would set the price. Very much like an enabled international free market.
The main benefit of this is that anyone can sell any item listed on the API.
Amazon does not provide a buy API neither does eBay. Shopify makes this process difficult and is focused on providing multiple store fronts they manage, i.e. centralised.
The second part is for incomplete items. User contributed kit plans could be made available for anything and everything, a bit like a wiki shop with instructions perhaps. This would be aimed at consumers and business, right the way up to the richest people in the world. You could for example purchase a kit for doing your Duke of Edinburgh expedition trips where you have rucksack, sleeping bag, mat and socks etc. listed and you could tick off what you already have, the resulting items would then be ordered from the ideal source on the buy API. The user flow for adding kits would be choosing item categories you want to include in your kit, maybe providing exact items. Then writing instructions. There is nothing stopping you charging for the plans. The use case for a buyer is: Seeing the kit listed on the search and reading the available information, then ticking off all the items you have and paying for the remainder. The items would then all arrive from whichever place had the cheapest or best, or quickest.
The idea of this is that you can ask a question and the device will already know what the person you are reffering to would say (has said) and they then realise you have asked at a different time too. The basic principle is to take conversations as far forward as it is possible to get them, now we have computers. Most conversations have been had before, so we might be able to just assume someone would say that based on the predictions of their interests and take the conversation right up to the point the needed answer has been found, or its a totally new and unrecorded idea. There are basically ways of doing some of this already on social networks with the advanced newsfeed algorithms, for example, people posting about upcoming events they know their friends are going to so they can see it when they look. This is a radical contrast to how things were 200 years ago when you literally only had the time you were with the person to communicate with them, then came the phone, now comes the conversational time machine.
It would probably have to be combined with some of the other projects like the everything club and the audio social network to make a profit, or run adverts, but if it's on its own you could charge a subscription to access your platform.
This is a club where people who sign up go through are allowed to go through vetting that could be as advanced as the secret services, but it would be for providing a service to the customer, not because you are planning to do this as work. You would also need a very heavy informed consent procedure to allow users to see things that were previously reserved. You would, after your onboarding, be able to look up anyone and see all the data anyone had on them displayed, such as browsing history and payments, you could suggest things that would save the user money much more easily. I know if you draw a graph of "paranoia of data harvesting" over "awesomeness of tech", the paranoia drops as the tech gets more awesome (credit of example: xkcd).
You would for example install an app that requests all of the permissions on your phone and records all your talking and spending, you would be able to share it with other people a bit like a next-level Facebook or social media app. You could provide a free network that sells the data responsibly or you could potentially provide paid concierge services to make a profit from this. I think the concierge would work exceptionally well because they could replace your web advertising spaces in sites you visit with things that are purely designed to help with what's on the site (and if you pay enough then everything you have ever done could be taken into account). This would work well with the audio social network.
I know this rings alarm bells, why would you let a child get into debt and face the potential consequences? Credit cards for children are illegal in most countries, and this is actually what should ring alarm bells! I will explain why and how we can avoid all the major consequences...
You know that in the UK there is over £30,000 of debt per person, id guess its the same situation in many countries. This is not a problem its simply how countries work, how they build the most for the most people the quickest. The problem is that it rips off people who think their money is going to be exactly the same tomorrow. If you dont have an innate understanding of credit, then many people who do understand it will be able to extract money from your inability to play the system as many people use it (after all lots of people use mortgages).
This idea is that there should be a pre pay card, paid for by parents and issued in the child's name complete with a $20, $50 or $100 balance they can use as a credit card, with interest being paid as an educational example. I think because parents are paying the initial balance and effectively gifting the balance and educational environment to their kids there is technically no issue but this is not a statement that its definitely legal, certainly get legal advice if you cannot identify the relevant legislation. Having said that, I would wish my children to understand credit, and wouldn't be scared to offer them credit out of my own account if it meant they understood the way countries and corporations work.
To make a profit on this you would have to charge an activation fee or keep the interest. There are services that offer card issuing and I'm currently finding out about if they offer cards to under 18s that could be used for this purpose.
This is all about making things like Twitter and Facebook available for blind people, those that find visual networks difficult, and, while doing things that involve full use of your visual senses, like driving.
It would be like a smart speaker that provides social features, like those provided by the social networks i just mentioned and more. You could potentially have it listen to all the conversation in the vicinity, or you could have it only listen while an audio isolating switch is depressed. It would then provide your personal feed as a radio station with clips of speech and lyrics or songs in a stream. You would simply be able to talk to the radio as many people have found exciting across the world. Its all about what your friends and chosen actors are doing with perhaps sections on your interests and news, i don't have to describe a news feed.
The radio station could even provide "GPS style directions" for life tasks such as getting a specific job or performing any repeatable task. Playing "time to wake up in the morning" and "brush your teeth", when its time to brush your teeth, truly removing the need for memory. This might sound scary, but you're following it because it makes the whole world more efficient in the long run perhaps.
An example of some of the features of "GPS style directions" might be: How you could play a song such as "turn right", so the first "turn right" lyric was played at the moment you had to make a right turn and the context of where you were and what the data shows you are trying to do allows you to use the directions. Using exising media that is interesting, as there is a lot of different stuff out there, supposedly, without interrupting music you like or the feed. You could advance this as a form of encryption, where the directions were "word associated" over a length of time for security and other people around you are not able to decode your instructions. For example you could routinely assign nicknames of your social contacts as famous people that are spoken about on the news. That way when the radio plays a news clip, "Teresa May's husband is cannabis entrepreneur", you would then relate the content to the friend that you had associated with Teresa May previously.
